RE: oooh, a toughy.

The final three:
Pioneer RT-707 Real to Real. Just a pretty (and pretty good sounding) device.
Kenwood KA7300 Integrated Amplifier Rack mounted below the above - the big silky volume control was to die for and the presence control saw a lot of use with various recordings - I miss that a lot
My Shahinian Obelisk Loudspeakers - querky looking threw a great sound stage - like you were there.

The Kenwood went for $100 bucks to a friend - I needed car repair money - don't have the car anymore either (Mazda RX-2) but wouldn't mind having it back, either!
The RT-707 went with Obelisks, a Hafler DH101 preamp and a Dynaco Stereo 410 power amp for Wedding ring money... Still have the bride.
