Factoring in the cost of restoration tooling, HiFi wins !!!....

Oh yes, old car parts are pricey these days. Tooling is for racers and well stocked workshops. Finding machine shops that will work with restorers may cost more in gas than the parts will cost... When I bought my real Cooper S in 2001, parts were 1/4 of what they are now ! Time to sell the Min and help pay for my kid's college, and maybe some more vintage hifi...
