RE: Nad 3225PE or 3240PE

I have a 7240PE and it packs some punch. I use it to drive vintage 70's Polk Monitor 10's. Only problem which is common with NAD is they tend to get cold solder joints. which can introduce noise and crackle. I had to go over every joint and it is working tip-top now. It all started when I used this amp for computer speakers and had my 30 pound monitor on top of the amp which probably flexed the frame. But I've hear others have the same problem.

my 2 cents. Good amp/phono/tuner sections.
