They are very good caps and close to ideal properties. Thing is, they have much lower losses than some other film caps or non-polar electrolytics. So if used to replace old non-polar electrolytics in an existing speaker they will result in the output of the midrange or tweeter being as much as 1 dB higher. That may be good in some cases, but the EPI's are bright enough as-is (when new) and don't need another dB of tweeter output. The Jantzens that I recommended have about the same insertion loss as good quality non-polar electrolytics, so they won't change the voicing that much.
And that's why I did not recommend Solens in this particular case. There are no universal solutions and each case must be considered on its own merits.
