EPI 500 cabinets

I recently got a pair of EPI 500's. These are almost as big as the 400's, but are a lot lighter. The cabinet walls are thinner than any of the older EPIs I've worked on. Would internal bracing improve the bass, or are the flimsy walls a non-issue because of the passive radiators?

I have not listened to them yet because they nead refoaming, but according to the spec's, the freq response does not go very low.
