Well...looks like I have really stepped into it. Jeez.

Assuming that I turn my music room upside down, clear everything out and install the speakers and listening chair according to this recommendation, just what kind of sound-stage/imaging/sonic illusion can I expect to get?

It is probably immaterial to this discussion, but I like to listen to 40's - 60's Jazz and Classical music at moderate volume. My fairly lively room is approx. 15' X 17' with 8' ceilings.
