Hearing low level crackling/static in one of my DQ10s

Hoping someone might know the cause. It's in the right speaker. It's not very loud and it appears to come from all drivers when I moved my ears over them to try to find the source. It's doing it with the mute switch engaged. I wasn't noticing/hearing any distortion or breakup with music being played but I'm concerned because it is a new phenomena.

My preamp is a ARC SP6 so I can do a stereo channel reverse. The noise DOES not shift to the other speaker when I do this.

My DQ10s were made in the mid-80s. They are mirror imaged with yellow caps. Both speakers had refoamed woofers in late 1998, done by the same shop that sold them to original owner. I've had them for 2 years and they've been flawless up till now.
