I see ads for such on craigslist fairly often that say something like -- "stereo broke so I have to sell the speakers." If you do not get enough ohmage in the box to cover all the frequencies, might wind up costing lots more than $15. I got a working set of AR-3a for $10 last week. I think I'd go with the AR's and spend the extra $5 on my wife.
