Scott LK-72 it is. The game's afoot... you rip Eli. ..and you dont suck either, Neff!! nb: the little Yamaha tuner has been playing non stop for three weeks now, all nice and settled in, and at night it is doing a REALLY good job. + my masterpiece of a Lo-Budget big dipole antenna~!! Your input was great. Last night, wine and NPS Live at the Concertgebow was wonderful. Thanks for all your input. Next is Eico tube.

I decided not to build, not to buy, and concluded this project is the best idea for the following:

I poached these old Coral 12 inch "cinema" drivers off eBay, they are NOS, and they are WONDERFUL. From the first measure, the Alnico "happy thang" was evident. A week later, they are just wonderously musical, BUT, they are rated for 20 watts, and with more they will be more. Flea power only gives an itch, hence my query. All the woes of bass regarding wideband drivers on OB, these things produce tons of bass propped up against my speakers. The drivers weigh pounds, and the light frames are cast Al, so there is ALOT of Alnico mojo in these things. Price: $50. Tailor made for OB/single driver.
