I can believe these were a kit. That would explain the hand-typed card stuck on the back of each. I wish the builder hadn't glued the backs on, takes the fun out of peeking inside. The good news is that they appear to work fine. I haven't seen too many Jensen speakers of that era, so I guess they're as likely to be that as anything. They sound really pretty good if somewhat bass-light, so it looks like they're taking up permanent residence in my living room, at least until the next great find.
