Yes indeed, Jerry, 'twas baffle circumference difference which perplexed installation! "Fried egg" tweets were second generation, as opposed to the "raised", or slightly elevated, first generation tweets! Charlie @ Brown Soun said the tweets' wiring was too fragile to recone; thus was lucky they had two in stock(a more "modern" replacement would have been about $40-per-unit cheaper, though). 73s from Sactown!!!
