Not to put too fine a point on it, but there were utility models in both the first and second generation Advents. You apparently have second generation utilities, based on the 13 uF crossover cap. The second generation is "The New Advent Loudspeaker", officially. The woofers are electrically and acoustically interchangeable, and the outside dimensions and bolt circle is the same, but the hole in the baffle is smaller for the New Advent, as compared to the Original, which is simply "The Advent Loudspeaker". Is that what you encountered?

The tweeters in the two generations are different, and do not interchange, even though they both use the same "fried egg" radiating element.
