I made that decision years ago (1975) when my kids were small and I had stacked Advents. I could picture a 2 year old with an Advent falling on him. It took me until 2002 to have stacked Advents again.

It was also how I got my free Infinity 2.5's. The people that had them also had some active kids and one day they knocked one over, narrowly missing one of the kids. At 117 lbs. it would have been bad. As it was, it damaged the speaker badly. Took me quite a while to rebuild. They had a very narrow base, front to back, and on carpet they were unstable.
