Yes, I've notced the same thing. Morel tweeters are very smooth and fairly flat. I've only used the MDT-20 in new construction, but it has been paired with the Seas. I've played with crossover points of 2Khz and 4Khz with just a cap. Next step is a sealed 1 cu.ft. cab (sealed 1.5 cu. ft. currently) and a true 1st order crossover. Airtime's posts along these lines were inspiring, and the dynamics and scale of a large woofer crossed at 2kHZ make the fairly large cabs worth it.

I'll post pictures when I have things farther along.
