Do any of the current generation even know what the following initials actually stand for?

1. NBC National Broadcasting Company
2. CBS Columbia Broadcasting System
3. ABC American Broadcasting Company
4. RCA Radio Corporation of America--also RCA Victor

and the advanced test
5. JVC Japanese Victor Company RCA had monney in the venture prior to WWII but pulled out when the war started Hence the Victor in the Name
Wikipedia claims the original name was Victor Talking Macjhine Company of Japan but obviously that does not have the initials JVC. I do not think the Wikipedia article is very accurate in places about where the name came from.

7. EICO Electronic Instrument Corporation (Source: Wikipedia EICO entry)
8. EPI Huw Powell claims EPI stands for Epicure Products Inc. If anyone knows it would be Huw.
