I inherited a pair of lowboys a few years ago from my father in law (he had four of them with a Marantz 4430 quad receiver. The other pair and the mint 4430 remain with my mother in law). Today, my mother in law gave me an envelope full of early 70's literature from Rectilinear, Marantz,Dual and Shure.
Anyway, my question to RIII users is what settings do you use on the rear of these speakers for tweeter and midrange? The lab measurements in the (in)famous Julian Hirsch review state that the flattest response is achieved at Max. I always used the Normal setting.
Anyway, I will try to scan some of these documents for anyone who is interested
