Please look at the pictures....a buddy of mine gave these to me last summer before he moved to the Gulf Coast. Inside are Magnavox 15" woofers that have huge Alnico magnets under the black bell covers. The Tweeters are Jensen RP-105 horns.
When I opened these up, I was shocked that a crossover was not present. So it is no shock to find the tweeters were blown.
My questions are: Why no crossover? How do I figure out what crossover to use? Do simply find out the low end of a Jensen RP-105 and go from there? Can the tweeter diaphragms be replaced?
These cabinets are well made and in beautiful condition. I thought if I get them back to full working condition, they would be somewhat valuable.
This is one project I would like to finish before I dump my collection....who knows, maybe I could save these for myself and when back on my feet I could build a system around them.
