One was shot in the pair I picked up and they are very expensive to replace! I ended up replacing them with a pair of silk dome tweeters out of NS-690's. Great, great speakers. My friend and I compared them side-by-side against B&W 801's and KEF105's. Each speaker had it's strengths but the NS-1000's were the best overall.
