Well, the room is tiny, so I did what I could. I have a large desk with a top of 1/2 inch glass. It's 60 inches long, so I moved the speakers to the back of it, facing me, and put the receiver in the middle. The speakers are about three feet apart, and I'm sitting about three feet in front of them, in the middle.

I do hear the separation and distancing quite clearly now, although on some stuff, it sounds like the musicians are moving around.
