Hi Richard,
Thanks for responding.
I'm not too familiar with the Vitavox models. Is yours in a single cabinet? Ported? Is there a tweeter and crossover etc or is it run full range as designed?
I just commented offline to another inmate that I had a friend over this afternoon who wanted to listen to the Vitavox and "put them through their paces". So he brought over a whole bunch of test music etc. He listened soft and loud, from Chamber music to punk, and when he left he summed it up by saying that you'd probably have to spend $20k or more in today's speaker market to be able to equal them!!
I feel VERY, VERY fortunate to have found them. At first I nearly choked on the acquisition cost, but when I listened to them I was sold!
They do everything so effortlessly. It's almost eerie how "easily" they reproduce even extremely complex, loud, passages. Shostakovich, Beethoven, Mahler etc. They make it sound EASY!!
Anyways....thanks again and maybe you could post a picture of yours. I'd be very interested.
