and yes there was an inbalance, although not too dramatic. The speakers were free and the tweeters were from an ald attempt to brighten up a pair of wharfedale w60's(which I eventually had recapped and restored to stock) so I didn't have much to lose... I still liked the fishers more with the domes than with the stock tweeters. No doubt would have been better with the proper crossover.
