I am sure someone else has posted that some bidders will bid the minimum on an item to shut off the buy it now option, then hope to snipe it for a low (ostensibly below buy it now) bid later.

It's been a few months since I listed anything on ebay, but used to be the buy it now would only disappear once the reserve price had been met on the auction...has this changed?
