I contacted eay about this very question....their response was (Typical "Nanny state" response) that the high bidder will be confused if they are the current high bid and then lose the item to someone who uses the buy it now feature.....

Isn't that a typical policy you'd get from some MBA-type who's never worked in the real world before they got their high-end job at eBay?


She did say they are experimenting with keeping the buy-it-now on auctions in eBay motors.

OK, now you know I have some opinions on some MBA's who are ruining this country's business.
