I can see the point in a no reserve auction. There is no fault in the first bidder canceling the BIN. You didn't set a reserve so technically you are openly accepting to sell at the first bid. Given that fact I, as a buyer, would be pissed at the next bidders. Why not let me have it at my bid if I see it first? Too many little people in the world and it wasn't the Hope diamond for sale. I haven't bought any audio of e$ay but if I saw something I really wanted (though I've never had a holy grail) I would do the same if I saw a BIN with no reserve. Locally, I got a Pioneer SX-1250 for $34.99 and my most expensive outlay was $100 (made an offer) for Klipsch Fortes. So I don't give a rat's ass if a seller doesn't set his auction up to his/her liking. I sold on e$ay a couple times. If I wanted a minimum price that was where I started. That was with a couple items and almost all sold at the open price or better. Having tried that e$ay is not my first option for anything large or fragile as the time it takes to secure and wrap isn't worth the couple extra bucks.
