Hi.

As most, if not all, SS stuffs are direct coupled on a piece common PCB substrate. One part fails will almost entail chain damage effect on what direct coupled to it.

It is a real PITA to diagnose the fauts, & then remove the damaged parts & replace them back on with good ones, considering their small size, limited space available, & all semiconductors being heat sensitive.

Tubes are much easier to fix beside sound better.
