Yep, I removed the screens--but since they are magnetic the magnetized bolts on the front of the driver's faceplate will hold them in place. So I just pull them off when listening, and then replace them when finished, to minimize the amount of lint getting to those sticky domes. After posting the images I thought I should have posted them without the screens!
