2220b was my first foray into vintage, and it's in the basement with a nice pair of EPI 100s sounding just peachy. I recently picked up a 2238 that is NOT in the condition the seller said, and needs a thorough cleaning, but DAMN this thing sounds nice in my living room with some Reynaud speakers... if anyone knows anything I should do differently for this receiver re. cleaning please do say, 'cuz it's nasssty... also rec's for vintage speakers always appreciated! Cheers y'all. Oh, not to start any flame throwing, but both my marantz receivers crushed my yamaha cr-1020 (IMHO)... which while a really nice piece with an excellent tuner, just doesn't have the mids of Saul's stuff. And since to me mids rule, I'm a happy guy... unless a 2250B happens along;)
