Oh yes. I had two pairs and now just one.
They didn't sound good in a relatively large room but when I had them in my office with high ceiling about 3 feet off the fron wall, they were ghostly amazing.
And yes, I think they are way over priced driven by the herd mentality of fancy cable buying crowds...especially the group from the other side of the pond driving the price for a nice pair up to $1500 range...
