Yes they do sound like ELS's, they were on MY list

in the late 70's along with 57's (used but late prod'n black ones), and some minis+plus subs, LS3/5A, DM5's by B&W, MET7's. Subs were local black / veneer stand/column types, low Qtc sealed!

And then, I heard of and then heard a pr of Audiosphere's then NEW (ACT - Australian coy. not USA) Model 3 spheres, audio tweakie 8 inch two ways, no lowpass!!!, good sounding MF caps, and air coils - for the Fs notch, and some broader EQ up higher! IIRC

Read the recent review of those Japanese eggs on Stereophile OR even old Gallo reviews, and understand why I still have them! ;-)!
