This was in the early '80s.
About a month later the guy who donated the Heath called me up out of the blue and asked me if he could buy it back! I said sorry, but I had already donated it to the HS radio station where I was program director in the mid '70s. I could not believe any one would do that.
Then a month or so later I saw the former owner of the Garrard ( a very wealthy MD) at a church breakfast. He ALSO asked me if he could buy it back! I said sorry, but I had donated that to the school station too.
