When are you overpaying?

I have the opportunity to buy an HK A402 integrated and T403 tuner for about 300USD. This seems overpriced compared to ebay prices. However, they appear to be in minty mint shape and given I am picky, it seems worth paying a bit of a premium for this. Am I one of those overpaying fools for vintage gear, or am I simply someone paying for some well preserved gear :-)
