Fisher 400 cleaning

I want to know the exact cleaning solvent to use for cleaning the front panel and the top chassis with lettering of the receiver. I have read many postings about this and various suggestions for cleaning vintage gears. I want to know exactly which cleaning solvent and method is the most approiate for the Fisher 400. So far I've used 50% conc. Isopropyl alcohol with some success on the panel, but I can not remove the stain completely. Ialso used the same solution for the dial glass, it is very effective.
