.. takes time and a small Philips screwdriver and lots of time - start with the main case, then aluminum side panels, then look for the screws holding the outer faceplate, then the backplate - it takes much longer to get to the lamps, etc., than it does to change them

the "Stereo" beacon (iirc) and dial pointer light are soldered/hardwired, but all the lamps per se are easy to change out (once you get to them)

while you 've got it open, be sure to dust off the reflective metal of the panel that supports the fuse holders - it surprised me how much brighter it made the display
