Since the unit has been totally rebuilt at least once already, there is no need to stick to the original specs. Look at other amps running a similar tube complement. A common transformer which comes to mind would be one for a Dyna ST-70> You wouldn't need the 5V taps, but it similarly uses 4 el34's, and a couple of input tubes. The 6.3 input amperage may be a trifle low, but there are many mod kits which increase the number of input tubes (the Audio Research mod added 6 inputs, IIRC!) and they still use the same power transformer. Some replacement transformers are built with higher current capability and are still reasonably priced. The nice thing is that you can simply lift all the Dyna power supply circuitry right off and install it within. The Dyna will supply a higher B+, BTW.
