Synergistic was a "house brand" company...only one dealer in a certain area would have the line. Decent speakers but nothing fantastic IMO.

In Indianapolis, Hi-Fi Buys was their dealer....I worked for CMC Stereo, and we had the "Cannon" line of speakers....American Accoustics Labs (AAL)was another "House" brand we had until they came out with the identical MTX line. AAL was great for parties...that was about it.

CMC's best line, I thought, was Celestion...what nice speakers! Expensive, even with employee discount I could not afford them! We also had the high-end JBL's....a buddy of mine I worked with won a pair of JBL L-60T's and PARTED THEM OUT and put the components in his car! It sounded great! I should have grabbed the cabinets!

I really miss those days....I'd love to work in a hi-fi shop again! Best Buy or Circuit City is not what I would consider fun.
