Speaking of lamps...( Festoon)

Greetings- has anyone yet found an inexpensive supplier for these approximately 42 mm long "fuse" type lamps commonly used in McIntosh tuners and such? If I remember correctly, last time I purchased the "original equipment" from Binghamton, they cost nearly $7.00 a piece plus shipping, which blows a major hole in a twenty dollar bill for a pair. I see a lot of LED Feston lamps adverised on Ebay. I am curious to learn if anyone has tried these and preferred them over the originals,but I still think that I'd prefer the "stock" lamps.
