Talk about synchronicity! About 3 hours ago, a nice man dropped off the drivers from a pair of AR2a's at my place. Cloth surround woofers, paper cone 5" mids with the plastic housing that angles the two of them and closes off the backs, and a pair of 1 3/8" dome tweeters. The woofers need resealing and a little additional work, but are otherwise are OK. Stay tuned for what I do with those pieces.

Neat post Mark! I used to have one of the AR-3ST-2 tweeters. I used it with a Wharfedale W15/FS woofer and an 8/FS/AL full range as a mid in a 9 cubic foot Able Wood enclosure.

One of my roomies from the batchelor pad days had a pair of AR-2's and the other roomy had AR-4's with an Eico ST70.
