McIntosh C24 preamp - -channel imbalance, question for experts (pic)

This is my first McIntosh component. Not their greatest preamp but I really want to use this. It has a good sound (and I love the way it looks) but there is less output in the right channel, lacks bass, sounds thin. Does anyone have experience with this problem? ALL pots were cleaned w/ DeOxit D5.

I researched the archives here to see what I could do about minor hiss (and hum on phono). The 100mfd/12V caps to change were described differently from what is shown here. I think this preamp has been serviced - looking at the picture of the PCB and power supply, does it look like caps have been changed? I think a Sprague Atom (yellow on left) was added.
I am sure McIntosh used different suppliers over the years. This is serial number 16D95.

Any advice on this classic is appreciated.

Thanks,
Pete
