Exellent speakers. I've used them with my Sound Valves preamp and restored Dynaco ST-70's with very good results. They are my long time bedroom speakers. Previously with vintage McIntosh SS amps, MA5100/6100, and currently with a Panny digital amp.

You wouldn't think the TC-50's could be that good on bass but mine are surprising. On stands, in corners, certainly don't need a subwoofer.
