I have not seen a schematic in decades so could only suggest finding 1 and doing a trace. Most of the time the volume control preceeds the tone control amps and is not just before the amp driver board but it may be; just do not remember. Maybe Terry Dewickt can give an answer as he apparently does a really good job on getting these up and running.Most SS units can be modded to provide for a preamp output but sometimes there needs to be some circuit mods.
