Not being familiar with the Tannoys and not knowing what is available in Italy, it is tough for me to make a meaningful recommendation. A good push-pull EL34 or KT-88 amp should work well. Dynaco seems to have the most support, if you can get hold of them the Stereo 70, Mark II, Mark III and Mark IV should all work well. If you do not listen at loud levels, you might be able to get away with the ST-35 or SCA-35. Kenwood (Trio), Pioneer, and Sansui made interesting tube gear that should work in you situation. There are some very good British pieces such as Leak, Beard and Quad that might be easier to find than it is in the US. Happy hunting!Dave
