Re: Excuse me now I understand (maybe)

Thank you very much indeed again for your very kind and valuable reply.
I am afraid I am not up to the task of building an amp by myself.
Nevertheless I am looking with greater interest to good (and not too expensive) vintage tube amps, worthwhile to be restored if in bad condition.
I like the sound of tube amps in general.
Actually I am trying to put down a list of interesting amps based on very common tubes like EL34, preferably integrated.
My next speakers (I have just e-bought them) will be a pair of cheap but I hope nice sounding Tannoy DC100 with a 8" dual concentric and reasonably efficient at about 90db/1 Watt.
I listen at 2,5 meter away from the speakers.
So a solid 10W/channel amp should be enough.
Do you have any kind suggestion of vintage tube amps with good OT that can be found at a nice price ?

Thank you sincerely again.
Kind regards,

beppe
