Re: new Thorens TD124 owner

Congratulations. You need a plinth with a 5 holes. 4 1/2" holes for the long bolts and one BIG hole in the center for the motor/mechanism/etc.

If you look at the pic/link I included it will give you a rough idea of what I am talking about. It's a quick'n'dirty plinth I built for my TD124 using some Ikea parts and rubber isolation. Email me if you want more info.

As it was already suggested, vinyl asylum is a good place for asking questions on vintage Thorens as your restoration proceeds.
