I haven't used my RP100 in years but I was always impressed with it when I used it. From what I can recall it would hold its own against any of the other decks I had owned or used such as a Revox G36, various Teacs, a Tandberg 6000X, various Pioneers, etc. Actually the Eico was probably better than most of the other decks. If my memory is correct it is a hybrid unit; has 3 motors ,3 heads, sound on sound, dynamic braking,etc. It rewinds and fast forwards faster than any other deck I have used. I don't think they are worth much but they are definitely worth fixing if you like reel to reel tape decks.
