Good morning all....and Happy Father's Day!!!Yesterday I purchased a Heathkit W4-AM amp accompanied by the WA-P2 pre-amp. I have no interest in a mono system, so I figured I'd use it as the center channel amp in our second HT room. Does anyone have thoughts on whether this amp would serve well in this application? My front amplification will be supplied by two 100 watt Newcomb K-1000 mono tube amps. (the Newcomb amps are PA amps modified for audio).
I guess if HT is not a suitable use of these two pieces, I may seek out another for a 2-channel setup...or just set it up on my shelves, for the looks.
For the price I paid, which included a Lincoln AM/FM/mutiplex tuner and one KLH 6 speaker, I won't feel bad at all using the amp for decoration.
Another question: is there any interest out there for the tuner or components of the speaker (I have no need for one KLH6). Anyone with interest can contact me.
Take care vintageheads...
Gary
