I salute you, it was fun! And I really am serious about my recommendations.
IME the more 'FM antenna' the better the sound! Never found it not to apply. More body, more THERE there!
Aussie taken all in all and seen edge on - from any angle other than east, when all you can see is the Great Dividing Range - has a strengthening rib on it's east coast with a few bits of flat land seawards. Sloping thus down to the SEast!
Mind you that's with some fair sized hills in SA through to the Centre or NTerritory, and the Kimberley's of Nth WA, iron ore? ! Yep, we STILL have a territory!! All yrs are states by now!
Geologically the oldest continent. There are a coupla spots elsewhere with even older rocks! Around here the GDR has been ground down since before the Jurassic IIRC. Very smoothed down hills, a deepish for an Aussie river gorge. Off a narrow slow and longish river, The Murrumbidgee. Which does not flood / have rapids often, not seasonally/annually as the Colorado or the Rio G, even though it is snow-fed, rises up in there. Drought is normal down here.
