I had a Yamaha T85 attached to my building's rooftop antenna with 6 feet of coax going into the wall. I rearranged my set-up the other day, and I needed a bit longer piece of cable, so I got 8 feet of coax to hook up the tuner. Now stations that I was getting OK I'm not getting at all, and stations that were coming in strong -- practically next door -- I'm getting weakly. My building's super says the rooftop antenna is fine (I can't go up and check for myself), and I double checked all the connections. The coax cable I use is run-of-the mill Radio Shack RG6. (The old cable was RG59.) What's going on?
