220kHz filters. Same as some Drake & Hallicrafters shortwave/ham receivers from the 1940s thru 1970s. This design does not normally drift a lot over the years with quality capacitors. A gentle slope on the I.F. passband with many filter sections does sound very nice on any receiver.

I never heard one of the Marantz tube tuners, but I guess the lot would sound very good stock from the factory.
