I use a five element Yagi, higly directional. But both of the wanted and unwanted station comes from the same radio tower, so they are in the same direction. The unwanted station is a bit even stronger :-).

I'm only 5 km of the radio tower, seeing it directly.

Both of the station's signal maybe to strong, but trying it with an old cheap Yamaha solid state tuner, there is no reception problem.

The wanted station frequency is 105.3 MHz, the unwanted uses 103.3 MHz. I think 2 Mhz difference is not to close, is it ?
