Another thought - If it's an extensive network*, then going with a short run for FM only would help! And given the low signal, for the DISTANT station the lowest loss cable possible is worth it. Recabling the entire network with say RG11 MIGHT work, but a short separate run of it, for FM only, would be way better.

*the cable isn't part of the antenna so can only reduce the signal to noise ratio!
